If Jonelath is your necromancer, his second quest is to retrieve a body part from Isabelle. His first quest is along those lines as well. So none of the Necromancer quests really offer much benefit. One hit from any weapon will destroy the shield generator and make it safe for Dragons. Each piece can only be obtained by mind-reading the appropriate Black Ring general.
